Meeting with KL City Hall IT Director

A quick visit to IT Director of Kuala Lumpur City Hall. While IT departments  everywhere known as cost center, I feel they should be appreciated for keeping IT intact for the organization operation.

I brought up 2 issues with Tn Azwal. The first issue is the public complain system – I used the the AduKL and KLCares system frequently those days. I supposed there are always room for improvement, especially on its feedback management system.

Another is the website. I applaud DBKL for their efforts to keep the complex website intact.  Therefore, I suggest the website to have an improved user interface that is mobile device friendly. As the official website serves as gateway to Kuala Lumpur, we shall apply a much well-structured layout for ease of navigation.

There are other issues we spoke about, including the open source implementation. I hope Tn Azwal and team can explore into this initiative.

Thanks to the hospitality of Tn Azwal and his deputie, the meeting was a fruitful one.

We shall meet again.
